Add your site to Google searches
When you request Google to index or crawl your site, you can only do so for URLs that you directly manage.
There are 2 ways you can add your site to Google searches:
You can request indexing for an individual URL and monitor progress using either the Index Status report or the URL Inspection tool.
Or you can submit a sitemap for multiple URLs (i.e, you’ve just launched your website). Before submitting, you’ll first need to create a sitemap, which you can learn more about How to Create a WordPress Sitemap (The FREE & Easy Way).
Requesting a crawl does not guarantee that inclusion in search results will happen instantly or even at all (multiple requests does not help expedite indexing). Google prioritizes high quality, useful content more quickly. Read more about 9 Proven Ways to Get Google to Index Your Website Right Away
Typically, it can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks for Google to index a new site. Regularly adding new content and maintaining good site health can speed up this process.
That’s it! You’ve learned how to add your site to Google search.
